Biddable Media Executive (2-4 yrs)
As the Biddable Media Specialist, you will ensure the successful implementation of Search, display & paid social campaigns across GUS brands. You will be responsible for managing brands biddable media channels such as but not restricted to PPC, Display & paid social. Additionally, you will be supporting a team of biddable media executives.
A successful applicant will have proven experience managing biddable campaigns as you will be expected to take responsibility for strategising, growing and ensuring the success of the campaigns. The Biddable Media Specialist will report in to the Brand Team Leader.
KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, manage and optimise biddable campaigns such as PPC, display and paid social.
- Drive new business using Biddable and Search Media.
- Set key performance indicators in line with company-wide targets
- Conduct A/B tests on copy and landing pages
- Maintain best practice at all times
- Identify new trends and opportunities
- Use a range of analytical tools to identify areas of success/that need improvement
- Report statistics to the Team Leader and relevant stakeholders
- Work alongside other marketing teams to harmonise strategies
- Possess exceptional budget management skills
- Contribute significantly to the broader online marketing mix
- Develop and build new relationships with Ad exchanges, Ad networks etc
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential Desirable
Qualifications/Education Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience.
- A general Marketing qualification.
- Adwords qualified
Knowledge/Skills - A good knowledge of Ad exchanges, DSP- s, DMP- s, retargeting tools, adservers such as Double Click or Mediaplex and CRM tools.
- Substantial experience running display with the help of various mediums such as GDN, MediaIQ, Adform, Quantcast etc, and paid promotions on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Deep understanding of web analytic tools i.e.
Google Analytics
- Comprehensive understanding of programmatic and real-time bidding.
- Track record of managing successful Display/PPC campaigns.
- Excellent communication, numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel
- Positive, can-do attitude.
Experience - At least 2 years- experience in a Biddable Media/PPC based role.
- Substantial experience using Google AdWords, BingAds, Yahoo etc
- Extensive experience analysing website traffic, including on-
- Working in an agency/network/client side
- Working in the public or private education sector
- UK Experience/Global Experience page behaviours, inbound traffic patterns, and A/B testing
- Background in managing large scale PPC activities
- Experience of working in a fast-moving business
- Experience of managing change and implementing new initiatives
- Knowledge and interest about technology, marketing and communications.
