Bid Manager (3-10 yrs)
JOB DESCRIPTION
A. Purpose & Scope
In Prasad, Bid managers are responsible for the proposal of bids to existing or prospective clients for Services. The bid manager is responsible for Proposal Writing, Bid/Contract Management and ensure the smooth running of the bid for a project within the correct time and financial parameters, and manage the relationship with the clients and responsible for creating and overseeing a bid in a detailed manner as per expectations of the customer/RFP's
B. Responsibilities
- Responding to RFP / RFI / RFQ and Expression of Interest
- Participate in client meetings to understand their requirements and needs
- Bring out new solutions deployed as per the requirements on Proposal & Bid Management
- Interact with sourcing team in the customer organisation in getting the SOWs / Contract Renewals signed on time
- Perform Due Diligence to get clear understanding of client requirements
- Perform Competitor Analysis and Market Scanning
- Ability to contextualize customer pain points towards Building a Comprehensive Solution
- End to end Ownership of the Bid Management & drive overall solution
- Engage with sales, delivery team & finance cell for building a competitive and winnable Commercials
- Engage with senior leadership team for all strategic, mid-size and large deals
- Ensure differentiators are articulated, brought out clearly for all deals & warrant the bid is more aggressive so that it's winnable
- Work with partnership & legal team for entering into Tactical partnership with product vendors for an opportunity and micro vertical
- End to end management of Client Visits some include resulted in business opportunity
- Prepare engagement Heat maps, sales collaterals including case studies for proactive proposition
- Co-ordinate with internal teams in Lead complex bids for larger opportunities in region, as well as assisting team on smaller opportunities as applicable
Organizational Relationships (Reporting To)
Director > CBDO > VP > GM /AGM
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
A. Education & Training Graduation plus PG in relevant to marketing from premier institutes
B. Experience : Minimum 10 + years
LIASES WITH :
A. Internal ALL department members and HODs as required
B. External Top People from client's organization and prospective clients
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :
- Work experience as Pre sales , Bidding Manager , preferably in related industry
- Experience of working as commercial /pricing manager for various deals with good knowledge and exposure to a variety of pricing models - Fixed bid, T&M etc.
- Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
- Exceptional Analytical mind
