Job/Profile Brief :

We are searching for a - Key Account Manager- (KAM) with a hands-on experience in on-ground marketing, activations and Key Account management. 


- A sound understanding of FMCG distribution systems and start-up experience is an added bonus. 


- The candidate will work closely with the Head of Sales to drive a variety.

Responsibilities :

A. Drive and grow Bhojan - Meals business within identified Key Accounts :

1) Developing a solid and trusting relationship with major Key Accounts/Partners (Corporates, Distribution Partners, Retailers, Kirana Shop Owners).

2) Understand volume of Bhojan business in these Key Accounts.

3) Anticipate barriers to product usage and ensure access to reach target

B. Drive new conversions and performance of Institutional segment :

1) Build extensive relationships with decision makers and influencers of key accounts after assessing their needs, purchasing method, and frequency of contact preferences.

2) Develop sales pipeline and conversion plan.

3) Ensure sales effectiveness and efficiency in customer visits.

4) Managing and improving pricing, distribution channels to achieve competitiveness.

5) Review key account sales performance on a regular basis and take corrective actions.

C. Accountable for achieving the yearly budgeted target :

1) Build a forecast by franchise wise to meet the budget numbers.

2) Define sales strategy and commercial priorities for identified key accounts.

3) Review key account sales performance and ensure to achieve its budget numbers.

D. Responsible for Customer Satisfaction :

1) Solicit Customer Satisfaction Surveys participation, investigate causes of customer dissatisfaction.

2) Ensure that market intelligence and feedback is captured and disseminated to internal teams & stakeholders.

E. Responsible to manage the Internal & External Relationship :

1) Identify key stakeholders and build & manage relationships within identified Key Accounts/Partners (Corporates, Distribution Partners, Retailers, Kirana Shop Owners).

2) Collaborating with multi-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Operations, among others) to execute the sales cycle and to ensure high levels of customer attention and service.

3) Strictly adhere to the Bhojan policies, process and guidelines while engaging with Key Accounts / Partners (Corporates, Distribution Partners, Retailers, Kirana Shop Owners) or other commercial entities.

Desired Candidate profile :

- Graduate / MBA - Sales & Marketing (Preferred)

- Experienced professionals with 4 - 7 years work experience as a - Sales / Key Accounts Manager- in the Sales / Marketing function of FMCG / F&B / E-Commerce company (Preferred)

- Individual Contributor- (IC) role.

- Strong analytical skills with solid grasp on Excel / PowerPoint

- Sales skills with proficiency in Hindi and English are an added bonus

- Ability to work across different teams and align everyone towards a common goal.

- Disciplined, sincere, highly motivated self-starter.

- Use an analytical approach at all times to drive performance.

- Willing to fail, learn and try again
