Business Development Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a position of "Business Development Manager" in IT Staffing vertical located in Bangalore. As a BDM, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our client base in the Indian market. You will identify business opportunities, build relationships, and meet our client needs for their manpower requirements on CTH basis. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the IT staffing industry and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive positioning within the Indian market for IT consulting services.

- Develop and execute targeted strategies to acquire new clients, including prospecting, lead generation, and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers.

- Understand client needs and pain points, and effectively position our IT consulting services as solutions to address their challenges and drive business outcomes.

- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement to move prospects through the sales funnel.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs, and providing ongoing support and value-added services to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

- Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company objectives and revenue targets, leveraging insights from market analysis and client feedback.

- Work closely with internal teams, including consultants, marketing, and delivery teams, to ensure alignment of sales strategies and seamless execution of client engagements.

- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue growth, providing regular reports and updates to management.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development or sales roles within the IT staffing services industry, with a proven track record of success in the domestic market

- Deep understanding of the Indian market dynamics, including key sectors, client challenges, regulatory environment, and competitor landscape in the IT staffing services space.

- Strong sales acumen with demonstrated experience in consultative selling, solution-oriented sales approaches, and negotiating complex contracts to drive revenue growth.

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with clients at all levels of the organization.

- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans, identify market opportunities, and drive initiatives to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively in client-facing interactions and presentations.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze market trends, and derive actionable insights to inform sales strategies and decision-making.

- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
