Job Description: Sales Executive
Who we are:
BestInBooks.com is an online book rental portal, which provides unlimited- unconstrained- affordable- at doorstep access to books to its members customized to their individual needs.
We primarily cater to 5 segments- Business, Fiction, Self-Help, Non-Fiction and Children- both in English and Marathi versions. The member can rent unlimited number of books and read at their own pace. There are no penalties and no constraints on number of books to our members.
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of Sales executive is to generate Sales by connecting with customers on ground-on daily basis. Sales generation is measured by number of members signed up on the platform, and Sales will play a pivotal role in achieving the same. Further, he will also be responsible for identifying appropriate customer segments, help design relevant flyers and ensure effective marketing/ stalls on relevant city spots. The responsibility is to ensure end to end- Customer identification, conversion, delivery [separate delivery person], and retention.
Major Responsibilities:
1) On the Ground Sales - Expert in Business - 2 - Customer Sales and achieve daily/ weekly targets - [8 hours, 6 hours on the ground Sales]
2) Ensure holistic customer satisfaction- Detailing of benefits to customer, making members, ensuring delivery, monitoring return, and capturing payments. End to End-Single point.
3) Setting up tie ups with universities/ schools/ Corporates for Stall/ marketing to its stakeholders
4) Marketing collaterals refinement and design- Understanding of Customer Segments- Needs, Target areas, Way of Selling, and Follow through.
5) Monitoring of Business performance dashboard/ key KPIs and taking actions post approval
6) Assist in the training and development of peers- leading and motivating the team towards set objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
1) Must be undergraduate and MBA in Sales
2) Experience : Sales and/or marketing experience in a retail environment, establishing relationships and working with customers.
3) Must be extrovert with strong persuasion and selling skills
4) Creative towards marketing collaterals- ideation, creation on powerpoint, excel, and word
5) Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, and ability to multitask
6) Language: Fluent English/ Hindi Mandatory
7) Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
8) Must have a two wheeler and valid driving licence.
