- At Bert Labs (https://www.bertlabs.com), we focus on building new technology product at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things, solving real problems out there, starting with Energy efficiency improvement for our buildings, Process efficiency for factories & Predictive maintenance for machines. We allow customers to leverage our software and hardware to generate customized applications, delivered within the nerves of where they are located.

- The larger vision for us at Bert Labs is to build technology product company from India, and make it a global market leader, in the process institutionalize the company.

- We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Sales and Business Development Leader to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

- You would be responsible for driving a company's business and increasing its revenue, identifying and developing new business opportunities and building and expanding the presence of the company and its brands. You will also lead sales and client-relationship management, tracks new markets and customer needs, recommends new products and services, proposes and develops new strategic partnerships, writes proposals and plans, and guides long term objectives to meet business needs and requirements.

Role :

- Building strong relationships with customers, vendors and distributors.

- Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.

- Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs).

- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines

- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives

- Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to satisfy customers' needs.

- Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.

- Presenting business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.

- Motivate and energize the staff to make proactive decisions in all their communications with clients.

- Implement a training and orientation program to educate new hires

- Establish a referral network with local businesses and find ways to maximize value from those connections.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering

- Master's in Business Administration (Sales and Marketing) from reputed institute

- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role for minimum 15+ years

- Proven sales track record

- Business/Product/Pricing (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS) Strategy, Consulting & Business Development experience

- Ambitious drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication skills
