- The position of Business Development Executive provides fantastic experience in telecommunication and paperwork management, and is well suited for anyone with a marketing background. A Business Development Executive requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, able to respond to any enquiries via telephone or computer, so computer literacy is a vital asset.

- A Business Development Executive primarily assists the sales team, focusing mostly on managing schedules and the distribution of any sales documentation.
- A Business Development Executive prepares and then follows up on any sales quotations made for clients, negotiating terms with the client at a cost best suited for them.
- You must be able to efficiently respond to any online or telephone queries in a calm and friendly manner.
- The Business Development Executive must liaise between other departments and the client to provide the service most suitable to the client's needs, cost and time restraints.
- You must also be able to work closely with the Sales team to assess the progress of the department and develop Sales strategy accordingly.
- The Business Development Executive may also be required to produce reports on progress within the department and outline any developed strategies to improve.
- A Business Development Executive may be responsible for overseeing any supercharges and evaluating any alterations to both external and internal staff.
- A Business Development Executive should coordinate with Operations Team for Imports, exports, Clearance, Transportation and warehouse Department and do the operations works for Customer in Branches.
- Going to shipping line, CHA office, Transporter office, Customs office, Govt. Agencies etc for operation will be part.
- Payment collection, follow-up for timely payment, and payment realisation will be part of this job.
- All the verticals of Benchmark should be handled in Branch by the Business Development Executive for sales and operations and his responsibilities may be changed seeking changes in Organisation.
Key skills and qualifications of a Sales Coordinator:
- You must be educated to degree level and may also be required to hold any qualifications relating to Sales or Marketing.
- You must be fluent in English to a very high standard and possess strong communication skills, as liaison with clients and colleagues is a large focus within the job.
- As a Business Development Executive with the Freight Forwarding Industry, you may be required to have had previous experience in this industry and preferably experience in telecommunications sales.
- A Business Development Executive must be organized and possess a high level of administration ability to effectively manage paperwork.
- Due to the volume of communication that will be required with the client, the Business Development Executive must possess excellent customer service skills.
- You must be proficient in Microsoft Office and any other software related to the Sales or Domestic Removals industries.

- Handle RFQ (Local & Global).
- Coordination with operation Team at HO for the shipments.
- Coordination with shipping line, Customs Clearance Agent, Government Offices, Customs for

- Place the routing order to overseas agent
- Co-ordination & Follow up with Overseas for smooth handling of shpts till its landing in India.
- Handling Company key accounts from quotation, negotiation, routing, booking, updation till satisfactory delivery of cargo to consignee.
- Co- ordination with customer service and documentation department/ desk to get the job done in time and satisfaction of the customers to give smooth service, looking forward with effective job from subordinates.
- Monitoring exclusively day to day activities.
- Prepare MOM for Weekly Sales Meeting.
- Co-ordination & Follow up with Overseas for smooth handling of shpts till its landing in India.
- Handling Company key accounts from quotation, negotiation, routing, booking, updation till satisfactory delivery of cargo to consignee.
- Co- ordination with customer service and documentation department/ desk to get the job done in time and satisfaction of the customers to give smooth service, looking forward with effective job from subordinates.
- Monitoring exclusively day to day activities.
- Prepare Presentation for 4PL.
- Qualifications
- Associate's degree; Master's Degree Or Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years experience within a freight forwarding company
- Supervisory experience required
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; and excellent math skills to be able to create, review and audit reports
- Excellent customer service skills
- Intermediate to Advanced PC skills - MS Office, GMAIL and, Fax, Copier, typewriter, 10 Key, export system
- Excellent Data Entry skills- 99% accuracy rate
