Job Description (Category Manager - Agri input)

Brief :

- Behtar Zindagi is India's leading Agrotech Company. We are rapidly growing and are hiring for multiple mid and senior roles.

Key Responsibility Areas : 

- Identify new and potential business opportunities with Market players, Wholesale Buyers and Processors for relevant commodities which can be fulfilled by our Farmer Producer Group Network.

- Develop long-term contract with suppliers, monitor continuous supplier performance, and develop supplier relationship

- Negotiate the best-in-class price, payment terms, quality levels, and delivery terms for purchased products in line with business objectives

- Maintain and grow business across existing and key accounts

- Maintain a solid working knowledge of essential commodity trends including: industry trends, cost drivers, global pricing, material lead times, and technical/manufacturing processes

- Should be able to lead category for achieving regular/ season product quantity targets with Demand Generation Team

- Should be hungry for acquiring quick sellers based on new territory with sellers compliances.

Requirements : 

- Self-Driven and Motivated

- Strong Communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

- Experience in working with Agriculture Industry

Qualification: B.SC Agriculture

Experience : 2-6 years
