Business Development Manager


Job Summary :

Beetruit is seeking experienced sales professionals - ideally from FMCG Background to grow our customer base. Ideal candidate should be an energetic, enthusiastic and sales savvy person with excellent communication, convincing and customer engagement skills. He will acquire new customer from traditional trade, modern trade and HORECA segments and engage with existing customers. He will be responsible for developing a Customer Segmentation Strategy to plan and realize the firm's medium and long-term growth strategy.

Responsibilities and Duties :

- Developing and creating product and service level offerings to the target customer groups

- Identifying and nurturing suitable clients from General Trade, Modern Trade & HORECA, assessing client credentials, relationship management along with building, managing, monitoring and handling the respective client accounts.

- Acquisition of new customer accounts and exploring new sales channels for top-line growth

- Achieving volume and value objectives of the assigned territory driving, handling & monitoring the entire sales exercise for the given area/ zone within budget, time and policy parameters

- Leading demand generation activities while working closely with the marketing team

- Developing and maintaining the customer database in line with the specified Information Quality standards

- Ensuring optimal distribution and logistics cost by reviewing and monitoring Routing & Scheduling

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications :

- Atleast 3-7 years prior strong sales experience from FMCG background with a deep understanding of fundamentals of field sales and sales planning

- Thorough knowledge of MS Office particularly Word, Excel & PowerPoint

- Good communication, presentation and convincing skills; with fluency in local language

- Strong people management skills

- Strong ability, commitment, enthusiasm and energetic to achieve targets

- A graduate level degree in any discipline; however the candidates who are MBA/ PGDBM in marketing or related specialization are preferred.

- Prior experience of hospitality kitchen and F&V sales will be an extra advantage
