Barrownz Group - Executive - Search Engine Optimization (1-2 yrs)
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing website content, building high-quality backlinks, and ensuring the overall search engine optimization of the website to improve organic search visibility and drive website traffic. This role requires a strong understanding of SEO best practices, search algorithms, and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-page and off-page SEO audits for websites, ensuring best practices are implemented.
- Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to drive content strategies and optimize for search engines.
- Optimize website content, including text, images, and video, for search engine visibility and user engagement.
- Implement and manage SEO campaigns to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Develop strategies to build high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites.
- Analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and others.
- Monitor and report on key SEO metrics, including organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to improve website structure and user experience (UX) for better SEO performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SEO issues, including page speed, crawlability, and technical SEO problems.
- Provide recommendations for improving site architecture, content structure, and overall user experience (UX).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, Digital Marketing Specialist, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, keyword research tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.), and other SEO tools.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website development best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with local SEO and eCommerce SEO.
- Knowledge of A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress.
- Understanding of paid search advertising (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and integration with organic SEO strategies.
