Regional Head - Trade Marketing

Bajaj Electricals- business includes Consumer Products (Appliances, Fans, Lighting), Exports, Illumination and Transmission & Distribution (Transmission Line and Power Distribution). We have 18 branch offices across different parts of the country besides being supported by a chain of distributors, authorized dealers, retail outlets and approximately 480 customer care centers. Now, we have this opening for a Regional Head - Trade Marketing opening for our Morphy Richards products in Chennai/Hyderabad.

Regional Head : Trade Marketing, Morphy Richards

Location : Chennai or Hyderabad

Job purpose & Scope :

- To plan and oversee the execution of high impact trade promotion activities to propel market demand in the designated area and ensure sustainable business growth by developing the sales capability of front line sales force.


Major Areas of Responsibilities :

1. Lead and motivating a team of highly skilled trade marketing professionals to deliver organizational tactical and strategic objectives by review, guidance and high level of engagement.

2. Devising, Monitoring and Reviewing BTL activities that are channel /category/ SKU specific. All activities to be planned in coordination with sales team basis data analysis and should be in line with BU strategy.

3. Monitor and review the execution of marketing activations like In shop Branding, POSMs and other ATL activations.

4. Ensure Tracking & Validation of competitive pricing in the geography and provide appropriate inputs to combat competition.

5. Tracking the distribution parameters like reach, range and effectiveness of sales force (DSOs & THs) and take measures to improve the same on ongoing basis.

6. Managing the Trainings (to DSOs by Trade Marketing Area Heads) programs to make it relevant and effective,

7. Training, coaching and mentoring of front-line sales force i.e. TSH/AH on business process, products, sales and trade marketing objectives.

8. To facilitate the new product launch by providing necessary support to the sales team.

9. To coordinate with sales team and marketing and effectively facilitate Trade marketing process which are in line with brand objectives.

Essential Qualification : Any Graduate

Desired Qualification : MBA from B+ institute

Experience : 8 - 15 years post qualification work experience in distribution/Sales capability role or Trade Marketing role, preferably from Appliances/FMCD/FMCG industries.
