Overview:
- As a B2B Software Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within our target market. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential clients, understand their unique business needs, and present tailored software solutions that address their challenges. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets while fostering strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify potential clients within the target market. Generate and qualify leads through various channels such as cold-calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's B2B software products, features, and benefits. Engage in consultative selling techniques to effectively communicate how our software solutions can address clients' specific needs and provide value to their organizations.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our B2B software solutions. Tailor presentations to the unique requirements of each potential client.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers in target organizations. Act as a trusted advisor by providing expert advice on industry trends and best practices.
- Lead contract negotiations and handle objections effectively to close deals while ensuring a win-win situation for both the client and the company.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system. Forecast sales pipeline and provide regular reports to sales management.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns and product launches. Provide feedback from the field to enhance product offerings and improve marketing strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Utilize this knowledge to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related quantitative field. Masters in Technology or an MBA from reputed institute.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience of 4-5 years in B2B software sales, preferably with experience in similar enterprise-level software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach to selling.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive attitude towards achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and think strategically to overcome challenges.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed to attend industry events and meet with clients.
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment with sales targets
