Job Overview:
We are looking for an Assistant Vice President of Business Development (Offline Sales) will be responsible for driving the growth of our offline sales channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development and sales management. The successful candidate will lead a team, develop and execute sales strategies, and build strong relationships with educational institutions, partners, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive offline sales growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the education sector,
specifically targeting NEET MDS coaching markets.
- Set sales targets and objectives in alignment with company goals.
2. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the offline sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Provide regular training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
3. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, partners, and clients.
- Negotiate and close deals with potential clients and partners.
- Develop and manage collaborations with other medical coaching centers to expand our reach and influence.
4. Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the NEET MDS coaching industry.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
5. BTL Events:
- Plan and execute Below-The-Line (BTL) marketing events in medical colleges to increase brand awareness and attract potential students.
- Organize seminars, workshops, and promotional activities in medical institutions.
- Coordinate with college administration for event permissions and logistics.
6. Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
7. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to overall business strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in business development and sales, preferably in the education or edtech sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Experience in organizing and managing BTL events.
- Willingness to travel as required.
