Aviotron Aerospace - Manager - Business Development - School Partnerships (2-3 yrs)
Overview :
- As a Business Development Manager focusing on School Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our organization's reach within the education sector. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and nurture relationships with schools, educational institutions, and relevant stakeholders to promote our products and services. You will strategize, execute, and manage partnerships to drive revenue growth, brand visibility, and educational impact.
Key Responsibilities :
1) Partnership Development :
- Identify, initiate, and cultivate partnerships with schools, school districts, educational organizations, and other relevant entities.
- Develop a deep understanding of potential partners' needs, pain points, and objectives to tailor partnership proposals effectively.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, contracts, and terms to ensure mutual benefit and alignment with organizational goals.
2) Sales and Revenue Generation :
- Drive revenue growth through the sale of products and services to schools and educational institutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, considering market trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
- Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and sales pitches to key decision-makers within target institutions.
3) Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective school partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries, requests, and escalations, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Provide ongoing support, training, and resources to partners to maximize their success and satisfaction.
4) Market Research and Analysis :
- Stay informed about developments, trends, and challenges in the education sector, particularly related to technology adoption and curriculum enhancement.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation in our offerings.
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies, prioritize opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.
5) Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment :
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment of goals and effective execution of initiatives.
- Communicate partner needs, feedback, and market insights internally to inform product roadmap decisions and business strategy.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive organizational growth and innovation.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the education or EdTech industry.
- Strong understanding of the K-12 education landscape, including familiarity with curriculum standards, educational technology, and school administration processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, capable of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
