Aviotron Aerospace - Manager - Business Development (1-5 yrs)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive to drive our B2B sales efforts within the K-12 education sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders in schools, and closing sales to achieve revenue targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the education market and the ability to communicate the value of our products and services effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Lead Generation :
2. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients within the K-12 sector.
3. Generate and qualify leads through various channels including online research, networking events, and referrals.
Sales Strategy & Planning :
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
2. Create and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is recorded in the CRM system.
3. Client Engagement & Relationship Building :
4. Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in K-12 schools, including principals, administrators, and district officials.
5. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and meetings to showcase the benefits of our solutions.
Proposal Development & Negotiation :
1. Prepare and present compelling proposals and quotes tailored to the needs of potential clients.
2. Negotiate terms and close sales agreements to meet or exceed sales targets.
Collaboration & Communication :
3. Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company goals and client needs.
4. Provide regular updates to the Sales Director on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue.
Customer Support & Follow-Up :
1. Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients and provide ongoing support to foster long-term relationships.
2. Gather and relay client feedback to the product development team for continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
a. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
b. Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the K-12 education sector.
c. Strong understanding of the education market and the needs of K-12 schools.
d. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
e. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
f. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
g. Strong organizational and time management skills.
h. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
