Autoportal - Manager - Media Sales (2-4 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Build, manage and scale a revenue pipeline with advertisers, online ad networks / agencies and maintain a threshold of Ad Sales revenue on a monthly basis
- Generate revenue by selling online advertising inventory and meet monthly targets along with maintaining a high CPM rate.
- The candidate will be responsible to maintain a minimum threshold of advertising revenue throughout the year, stuck deals to have a regular revenue stream during low seasons.
- Effective sales planning based on the time of the year to make sure that the inventory is fully utilized thus maximizing the ROI
- Establish a leadership position as an online advertising platform for advertisers
- Apart from new business, the role includes account development to have long term business association with clients.
- Finding out who controls the advertising budget among the target segment organizations and contact them well in advance for new business.
- Formulate and implement innovative Advertising packages that maximizes the revenue opportunities with brands and agencies to rapidly expand the business
- Drive results in a fast paced, resource-conscious environment with a creative style and a strong vision
Required Skill Set :
- Strong Media Sales experience of Online media selling with proven track record of achieving media sales revenue for the organization
- Genuine passion for Sales, understand the Online Media market. Well versed with online inventory selling on CPM, CPL, CPC, dedicated spot sale and willing to innovate models and propose options to the client keeping in mind the overall segment target.
- Strong understanding of the Internet media space, search engines, online advertising, Mobile advertising and related business models
- An ideal person should have strong contacts with online media agencies, media buyers. Strong media contacts. Exceptional communication and presentation skills at all levels
- Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
- Full of confidence, good communication skills and have a pleasing personality
- The ability to work under pressure meet targets and have exceptional time management skills and should be good with numbers
