Automation Sales Role (4-7 yrs)
Job Title: Sales Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Achieving sales targets.
- Identifying opportunities and maintaining robust enquiry pipeline.
- Handling necessary oral and written communications in English.
- Setting appointments and managing interactions including presentations.
- Understand customer needs and finalize appropriate offerings / solutions.
- Internal co-ordination to develop technical and commercial proposals.
- Managing negotiations.
- Managing customer relations and ensuring satisfaction.
- Handling sales promotion activities.
- Providing timely information / reports.
Skills and Abilities Required :
- Sound knowledge of automation products, services, solutions and their applications.
- Very good market and customer understanding.
- Fluency in English; very good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, Systematic and result orientated.
- Willingness to travel minimum 2 - 3 weeks in a month.
- Experience in solutions sales or project sales.
- Understanding of PLC like Emerson / GE / Rockwell / Beckoff
- Knowledge of SCADA,PLC.
- Must have worked in industries like Oil & Gas or Water supply or water treatment or thermal power or industrial building or data center building.
Qualifications Required :
Education: BE, MSc (Electronics/Instrumentation).
Experience: 5 - 7 years in selling Automation Services / Solutions.
