Asteria - Executive - Business Development (1-4 yrs)
This position is responsible for helping Asteria build on its competitive advantage in the Indian Drone market. Target customers include large enterprises (both enterprise & Government) in various industry segments. In this role, the incumbent will be working with the cutting-edge of Drone Technology. He/She will be responsible in acquiring & driving business with key focus on customer acquisition & relationship management, market research, tendering & bid preparation.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Understand Asteria's company profile, products & offerings.
- Undertake calls to pitch Asteria's products and solutions suite to potential leads.
- Schedule & attend meetings with customers across the country to further business.
- Undertake product demos on-site to showcase the technical capabilities of the drones.
- Generate leads and convert them into opportunities and orders.
- Participate in exhibitions while representing the company.
- Find, evaluate and qualify tenders on various online portals including GeM.
- Handle relevant paperwork to submit proposals and bids on-time.
- Help Asteria identify the right product-market fit based on customer feedback received.
- Meeting the annual sales targets is imperative
Qualifications: Engineering background (BE/B.Tech in any field)
Relevant Experience : >2 years
Desired Skills & Characteristics :
- Relevant experience involves having a strong track record in meeting Sales targets in a B2B+B2G technical sales environment.
- Experience working with drone technology will be a plus.
- Understanding of the government tendering process is necessary.
- Excellent presentation & communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Intellectual, confident, curious, fast learner.
