Associate /Senior Associate - Sales - Personal/Motor/General/Health Insurance (1-5 yrs)
Job Title: Associate / Senior Associate ( Motor, Home, Travel, PA, Medical )
Reporting To : Team Leader
Job Description: Needs to be well versed with Personal/Motor/General and/or Health Insurance. Should be aware and comfortable with of basic Renewal Process: Quote Sales, Payments Issuance, Cancellations, and General enquiries. Proficiency required in written and verbal communication. Needs to have analytical skills and be able to answer queries of varied nature.
Operational Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
- Follow communication - scripts- when handling different topics
- Identify customers- needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
- Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise/Generate sales leads
- Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
- Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
- Adherence to standard operating procedures laid out by client
- Maintain customer satisfaction ratings based on explicit criteria set forth by the company
- Use company policies to determine if there can be an immediate resolution to a customer issue or if that issue requires managerial input
- Input data into the company computer platform to keep each customer record updated
- Review/Record/Alter customer accounts as per requests received and notate the same
- Handle activities pertaining to sales, providing quotes, policy issuance, payment processand cancellations and policy servicing
- Follow escalation matrix for dissatisfied customers and refer to the supervisor/SME/escalation
- Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans
- Highlight leads to the core sales team and develop clientele by cross selling to increase customer database
Person Specification
- Languages Known - Arabic, Tagalog, English, Hindi/Urdu & South Indian Languages
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Problem-solving with attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
Knowledge/Experience:
- Should have basic Insurance knowledge wrt. Property & Casualty, Medical & Life Insurance
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Advanced keyboard skills and ability to produce own correspondence and documentation
Competencies/Skills:
- Good Communication & Analytical skills
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to Multitask
- Good typing speed
- Ability to work in a target oriented environment
Qualifications:Bachelor Degree (10+2+3 Years Education)
Experience : Minimum 1 year BFSI Sector experience
