Associate - Retail Sales - Furniture (3-5 yrs)
As a Retail Sales Associate specializing in furniture, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the perfect pieces to complete their homes. You will provide exceptional customer service, guide customers through our showroom, and offer product knowledge and recommendations based on their needs. Your goal will be to ensure a seamless shopping experience and foster long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the showroom.
- Listen to customers' needs and preferences to recommend suitable furniture products.
- Provide detailed product information, including materials, features, and benefits.
- Demonstrate product functionalities and answer questions regarding pricing, availability, and delivery.
- Process transactions accurately using our POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the showroom.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Stay informed about industry trends and product knowledge.
Requirements :
- Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in furniture or home furnishings, is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and engaging personality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- A passion for interior design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to lift and move furniture when necessary.
