Associate - Reservations - Hotel (0-1 yrs)
Position Purpose:
- The role of a Reservation Sales Associate is to generate sales over the phone in a professional manner by offering relevant recommendations on hotel reservations to enhance guests- stay experiences.
- Reservation Sales Associate will help to create brand awareness and promote Program by handling queries of the program or assist with its members- account queries.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Participate in a training program to learn reservation policies and procedures, sales and computer system techniques. Display competence in call / email/email handling and completing a reservation from beginning to end. This involves the ability to commit in learning and process an extensive amount of information with the computer system in order to handle any call / email request.
- Use a computerized reservation system to support hotel reservation-related call / emails /emails or general enquiries from travel agents, Guests, the general public. Apply appropriate call / email handling guidelines upon each call / email management.
- Project a professional, clear and pleasant speaking voice. Generous listening, to identify and match call / email needs in order to establish great call / email experience to acquire for hotel reservations.
- Demonstrate effective sales techniques and source for alternate properties in order to obtain the highest room revenue and sales conversion rate whenever is possible.
- Drive for greater success in sales conversion to meet performance standards.
- To effectively manage difficult or irate call / email with tact and offer solutions to appease them to strengthen brand/customer loyalty.
- Attend briefings, hotel presentations in order to have up-to-date information on all company policies, procedures, properties, promotions and special programs.
- Sustain a vocal image which reflects a friendly, helpful and professional demeanor in order that each call / email is left with a positive impression of our organization and its staff.
- Adhere to company policy as it relates to work behavior and work performance standard requirement.
- Maintain a productive work environment and good relations with supervisors and co-workers
- Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

- Candidate should be a graduate.
- Exercise excellent/good telephone/email etiquette
- Demonstrate good customer service
- Good negotiation and selling skills are essential
- Good command of both spoken and written business English
- Ability to multi-task, with good planning and organizing skill
- Results-oriented and highly motivated
- Team player who is also able to work independently
- Computer literacy is a must
- Outgoing personality and enjoy working with people
- Able to work on shifts/weekends/public holidays
