Associate Partner - Sales - Insurance (8-15 yrs)
We are looking for proactive managers to work as a part of a team to build and service corporate clients. The incumbent will be allocated a market, the productivity of which he/she will be responsible for. The role would primarily involve activities across client and business development.
Roles & Responsibility :
- Lead a team of Managers and Assistant Managers to retain allocated clients and meet cross-sell targets
- Ensure all technology applications of the firm is effectively utilized by the client including mobile app, support email id, centralized number, policy administration tool, risk diagnostic tool etc.
- Conduct a risk diagnostic for all allocated clients to highlight various risk gaps in clients- portfolio and suggest suitable mitigating products
- Map all decision makers in existing clients and develop relationship with all stakeholders in a client
- Ensure all technology tools are always updated with latest information, and coordinate with clients for necessary data collection
- Manage service related escalations from the client. Ensure that servicing and client engagement team effectively resolves this
- Work with underwriting team to raise RFQ 90 days before renewal. Anticipate client needs to design and negotiate products relevant to the customer. Leverage prevailing best practices to deliver optimal solution for the client
- Actively manage the sales process: credentials pitch, consultative questioning, solutions pitch, negotiations, and closing
- Lead and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any other documentation following company procedures.
- Create compelling profit objectives and maximize cross-selling opportunities by keeping up-todate with the new product developments and enhancements. Generate references from existing clients
- Develop overall BD strategic action plans to ensure achievement of revenue targets including market intelligence, business segmentation, competitor analysis and customizing our value proposition
- Work with servicing team to develop and deliver client engagement plan. Identify prevalent value added services for each LOBs and ensure smooth delivery.
- Report achievement vis-a-vis plan on periodic basis to management team. Maintain MIS on key performance indicators
Candidate Background:-
- Post-graduate degree with ideally 8 to 15 years of work experience.
- Candidates with B2B marketing and business development experience will be preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance sector is a must
