Principal Accountabilities :
Client & Market Orientation :
- Builds credibility in the region by establishing relationships with clients for business retention for the speciality
- Formidable understanding of the risk portfolio of the existing clients and engages with them on regular basis
- Opens the door for long term engagement with new clients
- Formidable understanding of Product portfolio and service delivery requirements of the speciality in the region
Role :
Drives the defined engagement framework in the region
Requirements :
Business Delivery :
- Plans and prioritizes short to medium goals and ensures overall management of speciality in the region
- Acts upon the actionables build basis insights from the market trends and contributes to them
- Becomes the face of collaboration in the region with other practices and even JLT entities to expand business and penetrate new markets/clients
- Ensures service levels of business operations & delivery are maintained
People Management :
- Leads a team in the region for the specialty and delegates as well
- Seeks avenues to improve upon speciality knowledge for team member(s) and self
- Communicates effectively and regularly with the team to understand gaps, performance and gauge potential
Compliance:
- Ensures monthly business bookings and reconciliations are done by the team
- Ensures set compliance frameworks and business standards are maintained
Technical Skills :
Person Specifications
Work Essential : 8-10 years of experience preferably in broking
Qualifications :
Essential : PG/MBA
Education/ Qualification Desirable : Professional Insurance Qualifications
Essential :
- Analytical ability
- Sound knowledge of dynamics of India insurance market
- Effective Problem Solving
