Head of Copy
Years of experience: 6-7 yrs
Reporting to: CEO and Co-founder
Expectations
The role is responsible for leading the creative work of the team. A leadership role, its key responsibilities include:
- To set the creative bar for the agency through enhancing the quality of storytelling. For both, long term large campaigns and shorter pieces
- To lead a team of 8 copywriters (currently), be able to inspire the team to produce exciting creative campaigns and overall improve the performance of the team and manage workloads
- Work closely with the Planning function to help develop and review creative briefs in order to drive insights that inspire and build great communication ideas and platforms
- Work across functions to create integrated and strategic creative campaigns
- Facilitate and take new business development pitches to the next level
- To be able to spot process inefficiencies and bridge them with relevant processes to streamline work at large
- Be a partner to the Design and Planning teams and report directly to the CEO and Co-founder
The role is for a digital marketing and communication agency that;s been around for about 8 years and has a bench strength of 70 people across functions. They enjoy working on an exciting mix of big brands across automotive, apparel, tech wellness and FMCG. To name a few: BMW Motorad, Livpur, Goodricke tea, and there's an exciting global motorcycle brand in the pipeline...The successful candidate will get to work across this exciting portfolio and have the opportunity to steer the digital conversations for these brands.
