Associate Director - Sales - Hotel (5-12 yrs)
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with the Senior Management Team to drive business needs and expand our market presence through strategic promotional efforts and innovative sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership- Work closely with senior management to develop and implement hotel sales and marketing plans that align with business objectives.
- Team Development- Cultivate a high-performing sales team through effective training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Sales Focus- Identify and drive focused activities that enhance business opportunities across all market segments.
- Initiative Development- Contribute to the development of sales and marketing initiatives by recommending, implementing, and monitoring local activities.
- Information Management- Organize comprehensive product and service information and deliver this through relevant sales resources to current and prospective guests.
- Reporting- Produce accurate and timely sales reports that meet the needs of hotel management and ownership.
- Presentation- Prepare and present monthly updates on the proactive sales team's contributions and activities to hotel owners and senior management.
- Collaboration- Work with other hotel departments, particularly Reservations and the Banqueting Department, to ensure an exceptional guest experience and robust sales programs.
- Contract Preparation- Draft company contracts in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
- Monitoring Discounts- Oversee offers and discounts for repeat bookings for groups, congresses, and seminars in close coordination with the Group Coordinator.
