Associate Director - Business Development - Locker (7-13 yrs)
Lead pan India business development team comprising regional managers for multiple cities and business development executives reporting to the regional managers.
- Retain and grow teams in existing QikPod cities and also recruit/grow teams from scratch in new cities.
- Primarily scout out and build a pipeline of prospects at big office parks, companies and apartment complexes to deploy QikPod lockers
- Lead pan India network and direct each city specifically for all company matters: business development/sales, operations, HR, administrative, and reporting to and coordinating with Bangalore headquarters (HQ).
- Independently visit prospective sites and present QikPod solution to large national and regional developers, property owners/managers.
- Diligently and in a rigorous, process-oriented manner, closely monitor the pan India team on a daily basis to ensure alignment and coordinating, and meeting of pipeline milestones: new leads, follow-ups, signups/wins, and installations/deployments.
- Closely lead the partnership/relationship building with QikPod partners (e-commerce & logistics companies) at the individual city level across the country to collaborate on the best locations for lockers.
- Prepares daily, weekly, monthly and - on-demand- reports of BD status/performance by city and regional manager and BDE by collecting.
- Directly responsible for the set-up, routine updates, hygiene and collective team inputs of BD pipeline into a Saas based CRM platform.
- Has overall responsibility for physical deployment, maintenance and up-time of regional locker network by indirectly managing Operations Supervisor and Field Engineers.
- Has to trouble-shoot and solve customer issues and complaints by personally visiting sites as required.
Desired Skills :
- College graduates, preferably MBAs with 7+ years minimum experience in building out city based teams and leading a national team of managers and field level business development executives.
- Hands on attitude and style of management with a demonstrated level of energy and willingness to be in the field across cities for up to 3 weeks per month.
- Willingness to handle primarily Business Development/Sales, but also indirectly the pan India operations teams.
- Should have led a team of 15-30+ nationally across at least 3-4 geographic locations.
- Proficient in using search engines and business databases, professional networking sites (LinkedIn) to identify contacts and leads.
- Should have excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent spoken & written English communication skills and proficiency in regional languages - Hindi is mandatory.
- Flexible team player who is well organized and very professional.
- High energy and enthusiasm. Required to work 6 days/week, travel over 60% of the month, long hours when needed and weekends (compensatory off will be given during weekdays as necessary)
