Associate - Communication & Partnerships (3-5 yrs)
Motive : Design & deploy systems and processes and carryout the same to enhance the visibility and partnership of the organisation
About the Position :
We are looking for an experienced professional who is keen on taking up a role which is focused on enhancing the visibility of the work of the organisation in public space and facilitating partnership with institutions of eminence across the world. The Associate plays a critical role by being responsible for interacting with team members of various projects, understanding the value of the impact created and carving out stories from the same. The role also requires the individual to understand the paradigm of public policy, objectives of the organisation and the appropriate institutions with whom mutually empowering partnerships may be built. It requires a dynamic outlook, identifying opportunities, an attitude of staying abreast with ongoing development, technological interventions in communication and ability to handle the digital and physical presence of the organisation. As a part of Organisation Management Team, the associate will be required to ensure that the websites, social media channels, physical visibility and communication with institutions is of high quality and consistent ensuring growth of the organisation.
Qualifications required:
- Masters degree in either of management, international relations, journalism, globalisation or alike subjects with a preference for those having a multidisciplinary academic profile
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the development sector/government with a preference for those having worked in roles like Business Development or Public Relations
- Special value for polished business writing skills and IEC material design skills
- Prior experience of working with multilateral agencies and large foundations will be favourably looked upon.
- Knowledge of website handling will be of advantage
- Strong organisational skills with the foundation of value based decision making
Responsibilities :
- Identify and facilitate new partnerships targeted towards knowledge creation and adequate talent pool
- Maintain working relations with industry experts, mentors and other resource persons
- Build partnerships with mainstream media for coverage of work being done by the organisation
- Handle the communication channels of the organisation which includes all websites, social media accounts and blogs
- Support the organisation in designing, developing, reviewing, editing and translating communication materials
- Work across the organisation to identify projects, stories and messages that are engaging, motivating and high quality, and which communicate impact and showcase the work of the organisation
- Identify opportunities for creating and delivering inspiring and attractive multimedia content about the work of the organisation
- Contribute to identifying new and creative ways to enhance the visibility and outreach of the work of the organisation
- Support the organisation with the creation and delivery of communications activities and products such as written content, newsletters, case studies, including infographics and learning events, related to the work of the organisation
- Ensure that all communication materials synergize with the organisation communications strategies and branding
- Ensure all communication material is targeted at audiences, and delivers key messages as per the preferences of the organisation
- Support the organisation in documenting learnings as well as insights and building a - library- of communication materials and impact stories
