Associate Category Manager (1-5 yrs)

The company was founded in 2017 by Sumesh R Nair (CEO) and [Abhay Gupta (COO). Currently, we are focused on solving entry-level career transition problems for students and early career professionals in Technology & Management.
We have grown 4.5X in FY'21 and are on track to grow 5X in FY'22. Currently, we are a 200+member team spread across Engineering, Product, Marketing, Category, Inside Sales, Customer Service, and People Management Team.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Category Manager, you would :
- Managing growth, topline, bottom line including planning, forecasting and driving scale for Ed-Tech category across multiple channels.
- Research, Design, Develop, track and improve the courseware for each of the existing offerings
- Performing market research and identifying industry trends that are relevant to the industry
- Conduct deep-dive analysis and share recommendations on current business, future opportunities and action plans based on data.
- Providing thought leadership around planning, roadmaps and execution, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
- Generating and implementing big ideas to drive business improvements, innovation, and scale category across all markets
- Research, Design, Develop and release new Offerings onto the market
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a product or offerings
- Onboard, Track, forecast and improve the Coaches and their experience
- Work with multiple stakeholders and functions within the organization to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Strategize, draft and implement all of the communications to the customers and ensure no Brand Impact
- Meet several KRA's and KPI's and tight deadlines
- Ensure the Growth of the offering/category
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :
- 1-3 years professional experience working in category management/ growth/ consulting roles
- a commitment to collaborative problem solving and delivering quality products.
- A problem solver with a strong growth mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Entrepreneur mindset/ prior experience working in startups (Pref)
- Ability to understand business requirements, design and implement solutions accordingly
- Hunger for learning and Quick thinking with rapid execution
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite
- Preferred candidates with experience in Data Visualisation Tools or similar open source solutions
- Well-rounder people skills to engage with various types of customers
- Integrity in all your business dealings and negotiations with prospects
