- Identifying new supply leads
- Pitching business plans
- Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
- Researching organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new partnerships
- Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions
- Contacting potential partners via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives, if any
- Attending meetings
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations
- Contacting partners to inform them about new developments in the company pertaining to the supply
- Developing quotes and proposals
- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
- Ensuring sales goals are met
