- Our client is one of the most innovative and fastest growing EdTech start-up Counseling Shortcuts is looking for dynamic Business Development / Sales Associates to drive the educational technology product sales and drive the interaction and product demos with the potential customers to generate revenue.

- The ideal candidate should have a good flair for telephone and online demo-based sales. Also, should be a great fit for our energetic and creative team.


- You'll gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from mentors with 5+ years of industry experience and dynamic professionals across India.

The Job

Key responsibilities :

- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media

- Call 65-70 leads every day

- Set up meetings with potential clients (parents)

- Generate Trial Classes and Assessments by pitching parents to take Counseling Shortcuts Trial Classes and AI-powered Career Assessments

- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections

- Follow and achieve the department's sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis (3L revenue per month)

- Go the extra mile to drive sales

Mission Statement:

- This job post includes a one-month training program. Candidates are not required to pay any amount during training

- During the training, we will actively guide you through the process using Training Decks, Live Experiences, Re-Training Programs aimed at providing you with an overall learning experience, along with a paid stipend along the journey

- We create career-oriented BDT in this one month, whose skills become unmatched across the sector

- You are required to use the right sales strategy and accomplish 1 Lac of revenue in the training period, hence making a way to achieve License to Sell (L-2-S)

- Attendance of 90% is mandatory in one month of training

- You will be entitled to a training stipend of INR. 24428

Ideal Candidate

Requirements and skills

- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role

- Proven sales track record

- Experience in customer support is a plus

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

- Proficiency in English to effectively liaise with the stakeholders of the region.

- Market knowledge

- Communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to build rapport

- Time management and planning skills

- BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
