Associate - Business Development - Manufacturing Firm (1-10 yrs)
1. The Function of the department is to find out the need of the customer and fulfill the need with the products and services of the organization. This involves market research, setting prices, finding distribution channels, advertisements etc.
2. Responsibility for prospecting new clients
3. Preparation of presentations to prospective clients
4. The primary responsibility will be the creation of reliable high impact sales and marketing presentations for select offerings to target key industry segments and entail the following
5. Develop relationships with colleagues in other departments and regional offices around the globe to obtain product knowledge (features and benefits) and translate that into effective value propositions that our customers will easily understand and value
6. Gather and listen to the needs of SBD Account Executives for effective sales tools and recommend and develop materials to address them
7. Identify, analyze and set priorities for sales tools (including presentations) for prospecting and ongoing sales activities conducted by SBD Account Executives to engage potential and existing clients
8. Assist and/or manage the creation and dissemination of periodic sales management and product roadmap reports as needed
9. Formulate and deliver responses to specific customer needs and inquiries as needed (for example, respond to a customer's follow-up questions for further information about a particular product)
