Associate - Business Development - FinTech Firm (2-7 yrs)
The Job
You will working as part of our outbound sales team majorly responsible for identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients. Your regular activities will include:
- New business generation by meeting potential clients.
- Understanding end user needs and pitching relevant solutions.
- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
- Meeting and exceeding activity and revenue targets.
The Profile
- At least 2 years experience as a B2B account manager would be required, preferably within the Fintech industry.
- You have hands-on experience building sales pipelines and following up on leads to close sales cycles.
- A solid track record of performance, including significant contribution to revenue numbers is a must.
- You are comfortable going out there and making excellent pitches to senior stakeholders and key decision makers.
- You have a flair with words and are not easily taken aback by rejections.
- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- A go-getter with a persistent attitude is what will help you succeed in this role.
- You can collaborate with internal teams and use their assistance with preparing relevant client pitches and conducting productive sales meetings.
