Associate - Business Development - Bank (0-4 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for end-to-end EDC requirements for your assigned sector/area
- Merchant Acquisition: Onboard new merchants for EDC basis understanding of transaction volume and pattern in the assigned geography.
- Lead Generation: You need to generate leads through cold calling and hunting in the market for premium stores
- Relationship Management: Regularly engage with identified merchants to strengthen relationships with these merchants. Provide them with servicing and onboard them for other value added services
- Account Management: Your task is to develop a deep understanding and relationship with each account that any competitor finds it an uphill task to onboard the merchant account.
- Competition Mapping: Study, map and report competition activity in assigned geography basis geographical or category-based initiatives to enable faster response.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduation and above
- Good Communication and influencing skills
- Sales acumen
- Minimum 6 months of B2B or B2C sales experience
- Experience in selling financial products would be an added advantage
(such as CC, EDC/POS, Insurance etc.)
