Assistant Vice President - Market Research

A global b2b market intelligence/research firm that focuses on emerging technologies located in Noida is looking for an Assistant Vice President - Market Research with the following responsibilities and skills :

Role & Responsibilities :

- Guiding the entire research unit through the research process, inclusive of market coverage, adequate segmentation in the report, compliance, research process planning and strategizing, data analysis and market engineering, primary research, qualitative data analysis and ensuring proper business language.

- Working closely with the Sales, Marketing and web team to strategize revenue generation and customer acquisition.

- Strategizing and planning manpower requirements in coordination with the Talent Acquisition team

- Training and mentoring Research professionals to achieve individual and organizational targets and grow in their respective verticals with a plan of designing a training module.

- Communicating research results through the creation of structured end-products: memos, spreadsheets, reports, presentations, etc.

- Expected to take complete ownership and deliver high-quality Industry and Sector Research in the specific areas of specializations.

- Coordination with different teams for a smooth functioning (editing team, sales, formatting, and the web.

Skills Desired :

- Experienced in writing and designing research reports from more than one industry verticals.

- A Clear understanding of basics of Market Research, including primary research and secondary research ideally in the technology domain.

- Previous experience in analyzing data using different techniques.

- Good teamwork and communication skills, as he/she will be expected to head the entire research unit with experience in handling a team of more than 3 members

- Have good command over business English, so that he or she can overview report content and also work in collaboration with the Business Editor to develop writing guidelines

- Overall 8-10 years of experience out of which at least 3.5 years of work experience in the Market Research and/or consulting in Automotive/Semi-Conductor/Technology(ICT)/Mechanical domain.
