Assistant Vice President - Corporate & SME Sales - Insurance (4-10 yrs)
The AVP - SME & Corporate Sales will act as single point of contact for Client accounts.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Lead new client acquisition and management of existing SME & Corporate Accounts, including renewals and cross-selling
- Develop an understanding of the client business
- Conduct insurance risk assessments at a client to identify coverage gaps
- Work with the Underwriting team to place the insurance policies with the appropriate insurer
- Post-sales, ensure that all client-servicing needs are being fulfilled in collaboration with the Servicing team
- Train and Mentor junior sales team members
- Develop new lines of business
- Take leadership internally for developing product offerings for specific industries
- The AVP is expected to develop strong insurance expertise related to specific industries (e.g. Power, IT, Education, etc.) and/or insurance products (e.g. Group Medical, Fire + Allied, Liability, etc.) over time.

- Enjoy client engagement and can act as a trusted partner to the client.
- Interest in the insurance industry is a must; Existing knowledge of insurance is a bonus.
- Be goals and target oriented.
- Like problem-solving, Be interested in learning about clients- industries and issues, and demonstrate a willingness to develop innovative solutions for clients.
- Strong collaboration skills required for partnering with the RIA Underwriting Team and Insurance Companies.
- Very comfortable with numbers and be analytical.
- Detail orientation is a must.
