Assistant Sales Manager/Sales Manager - Chemical (4-7 yrs)
Responsibilities:
- To achieve budgeted sales volumes through new business developments for the specified products.
- Lead generation & follow up on enquiries to translates them into tangible business.
- Preparing techno commercial proposals and lead further discussions with prospective customers culminating in additional business.
- Establish and manage dealers network.
- Work closely with the plant/ Qc team and follow up on new development activities, sampling, vendor approvals and resolving customer complaints.
- Efficient receivable management
- To collate market information of competing products and technologies.
- Reporting spotted opportunities for needful attention of the management.
- Provide inputs based on customer feedbacks for idea generation for new products and applications.
- Managing Account Receivable by timely follow up on payments
Skill Sets requirements are as follows.
- Good knowledge of Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Pharmaceutical APIs, Agrochemicals, etc.
- Industry & application processes, industry trends.
- Established relationships and current contacts in these Industry to drive sales and new business developments.
- Able to independently generate leads and convert them to meaningful sales volumes.
- Prior experience in cost estimation, price negotiation, offer making.
- Able to tack leads and follow up for successful closure of business by coordinated
- Good commercial understanding of trade dynamics, duties, taxes, benefits schemes and transactions.
- Good analytical ability, preparation of sales presentations & Reports
- Team player.
- Willingness to travel.
