Assistant Sales Manager - Off Premise - Liquor (6-11 yrs)

Role Mission: This position would be responsible to lead and execute the on-field sale program of the Company at retail store and play pivotal role in generation of primary/ secondary demand from the market. The position will be responsible for the territory Sales within the state and report to the TSM/SM.

Strategic

- Provide on field inputs w.r.t. market demand, key trends, competitor strategy and other important market information that should be brought to management notice so as to modify/ refine company go to market strategy.

- Assist the regional/ territory manager in creation/ implementation various sales enablement programs & initiatives.

- Keep abreast of new/upcoming retails outlets (market, hypermarket, malls, model shop, etc.) and initiate dialogue/ negotiations for securing business for the company.

Operational

- Regularly monitors the orders taken by the sales executives from retail store and ensure order fulfilment within the permit validity.

- Constantly monitor the budget vs. sale target achievement and takes appropriate measures to provide the requisite sale push to achieve the same.

- Positions new product line/brand/SKU in the assigned sales zone/markets by direct interaction with key retailers/ through sales executive channel and keeping track of the process.

- Actively tracks sales movement of competitor products and marketing activities through sales channel and marketing intelligence and communicate exception scenarios to regional manager.

- Recommends and execute sales strategies/ promotional programs based on market research and competitor analyses.

- Play a proactive in planning and management of adequate stock inventory at the depot level to ensure availability of goods for timely dispatch helping company avoid situation of permit expiry/ non-delivery of goods.

- Manage the day-to-day bond operations including documentation, logistics arrangement, management and dispatch of stock.

- Follows up with the Distributor/ Dealer for Payment, collect payment and send the cheques to corporate AR team.
