Assistant Sales Manager - Hotel/Travel Package (2-3 yrs)
Roles and responsibilities :
- Analyze regional industry trends and provide fresh leads for business
- Maximize all revenue-generating potential
- Contribute to the hotel's sales plan and oversee how well the departments are following it.
- Recognize the competitive market environment and put strategies into practice to make sure the hotel maintains its lead in the neighborhood
- Negotiate hotel and travel packages with business clients.
- Make sure the Sales Team Members receive effective training, and cultivate a culture of high standards and proactive selling.
- Create and use innovative local marketing strategies, such as using social media sites.
- Use existing business techniques and take advantage of any chances that may arise.
- Communicate with all hotel departments as necessary.
- Attend sales events as needed and report appointments, calls, and a list of potential clients on a weekly or monthly basis.
