- We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to drive the growth of our distribution channel.
- The successful candidate will have experience in sales strategy, distributor management, and revenue generation.
- You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the distribution network, and fostering a high-performance culture in your region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive profitability. Monitor market demand and adjust strategies as needed.
- Channel Expansion: Identify potential markets, onboard new distributors, and ensure optimal pricing and terms.
- Performance Management: Conduct sales reviews, drive distributor engagement through training and incentives, and track performance.
- Market Penetration: Analyze competitors, market trends, and customer preferences to expand market share.
- Reporting & Strategy: Deliver sales reports, use analytics to refine strategies, and allocate resources effectively.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing and supply chain teams to support channel growth.
Required Skills:
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of meeting sales targets, strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Market Knowledge: Understanding of distribution models, retail ecosystems, and FMCG or consumer durables markets.
- Data-Driven: Proficient in CRM tools, sales analytics, and Excel to make data-driven decisions.
- Resilience: Ability to adapt to market changes and lead teams to success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 4-7 years of sales experience in a distribution-driven role.
- Proven ability to manage multi-tiered distribution networks.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.
