Overview:
The Assistant Sales Manager role is responsible for driving insurance sales and managing relationships with agents, brokers, or agencies to grow the company's market share and revenue. This position involves recruiting, training, and managing agents, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to sell insurance products effectively, and ensuring the success of the agency distribution network.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit independent or captive agents and agencies to sell insurance products.
- Conduct interviews and onboarding processes to ensure agents understand the company's products, policies, and procedures.
- Set sales targets for agents, track their progress, and ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Respond to queries from agents and offer solutions to any challenges they may encounter during the sales process.
- Implement strategies to overcome performance gaps and help agents achieve their targets.
- Assist agents with the completion of required forms and documentation for policy issuance.
- Help resolve customer complaints or issues related to policies and ensure that agents are providing effective solutions.
Criteria and Skills:
- 1+ year sales experience
- Graduate
- Local preferable
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of insurance products
