Assistant Relationship Manager - Corporate and Institutional Banking - Bangalore

We have been retained by our client, a well-established, professionally managed Foreign Bank to identify an Assistant Relationship Manager to be based at Bangalore.

JOB PURPOSE :

- Develop and maintain effective corporate relationships and to assist the Relationship manager in Portfolio management, evaluating loan documents and building of financial statements.

- Retaining and developing existing customer relationships to increase regional and business line market share and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Credit administration and documentation.

- Develop new customer prospects and business for the Bank.

- Co-ordinating with the relationship managers of the bank to ensure that the objectives for the relationship are met.

- Manage and cooperate assigned risk assets portfolio with coverage of revenues in excess of Rs.1,500 Crs in line with institutional standards of quality and profitability.

- Maximize line utilization and profitability of the assigned portfolio while Identifying the risk and managing them within institutional standards.

- Monitor the assigned loan portfolio and ensure its quality compatible with country environment and profitability objectives.

- Endeavour to enhance, maintain and deepen relationships with existing corporate customer base, as well as building new relationships.

- Evaluating the ability of a company to honor its financial obligations.

- Documentation, negotiation, modification and monitoring of credit presentation.

CANDIDATE PROFILE :

- Ideal candidates meeting with the above criteria should be MBA / CA with about 1-4 years of relevant experience in PSU banks, private banks or rating agency.
