Assistant Manager - Sales - Travel Package (7-13 yrs)
Job details / role purpose
To grow the sales of travel insurance and assistance products and services through acquisition of new channel partners, primarily retail travel agents in key locations across India. The right candidate will be expected to manage a team of channel sales and contribute individually to meet the financial and non-financial targets.
Key responsibilities :
- Contribute effectively to team and self- targets. Team management of channel sales managers
- Building the travel insurance business by acquisition of new travel partners as sales channels.
- Spending time extensively on the field to build the targeted distribution.
- Market analysis and mapping of potential business partners in the local market.
- Timely collection of receivables
- Servicing of partners and customers through effective and timely delivery of sales operations
- Imparting of sales training to local and national business partners.
- Adherence to the audit and regulatory sales framework

Profile sought and key requirements :
- Candidate should have extensive and strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators and travel
aggregators in key travel markets
- Min 4 years of channel sales experience with overall experience of min 7 years
- Experience in insurance or financial services will be an added plus, but is not mandatory.
- Team management experience
- Ability to develop and execute sales plans
- Process oriented
- Ability to gather the right market feedback and trends and share with internal stakeholders
