Assistant Manager - Sales - Pharma API (2-5 yrs)

Position : Assistant Manager (Pharma API)

Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Pharmaceuticals

Experience : 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales (Required)

Job Type : Full-time

Location : Hyderabad (remote work)

- Customer visits required (10 days a month) with at least 2 customer visits daily and 6-8 customer calls.

Requirements & Responsibilities :

- Self-Motivated and Self-Driven : The candidate should be self-motivated and self-driven.

- Customer Acquisition : Responsible for acquiring new customers for pharmaceutical API products.

- Market Understanding : Use analytical and strategic thinking skills to understand customer concerns and opportunities, collaborating effectively.

- Sales Growth : Increase sales of products in both export and domestic markets.

- Business Inquiries : Generate inquiries, qualify and secure business opportunities. Coordinate inquiry generation activities and develop customized, targeted sales strategies.

- Cold Calling : Make multiple outbound calls to potential clients, close sales, and guide clients through the closing process.

- Sales Tracking : Track all quotes for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews, meeting or exceeding annual sales goals.

- Collaboration : Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting. -Maintain short- and long-term business development plans.

- Sales Budget : Prepare a sales budget and segment targets with customer-wise breakdowns.

- Presentation : Create informative concept and product segment presentations for customers/prospects, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.

- Sales Cycle : Demonstrate experience and ability to advance in the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation strategies to successful close.

- Language Skills : Fluent in written and spoken English.

- Reporting : Provide daily reporting by the end of the day through email and mobile communication.

- Market Information : Share market information with the management.

- Customer Follow-Up : Follow up with customers on orders, outstanding issues, and sample reports.

- Factory Coordination : Coordinate with the factory for dispatches, documents, and samples.

- Database Management : Prepare a database for all customers met.

- Product-Customer Matrix : Prepare a matrix of products versus customers.

- This position requires a strong focus on sales, customer relationship management, and business development. The ability to work both on-site and remotely, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in English are essential for success in this role. The candidate should also be adept at using data and analytics to drive sales growth and be self-motivated to achieve and exceed targets.
