Assistant Manager - Sales & Operations - Edu-Tech Firm (2-10 yrs)

Description of the Role:

This position will primarily be responsible for communicating with the existing/enrolled students both over the email, and over the phone. Our students work with industry experts, and very senior leaders, and those leaders make the students go through various stages of learnings, and profile building. In this entire process, the senior experts do not have the bandwidth or the capacity to follow up with the students, or see if the assignments have been submitted on time. If a student is going through a profile building process that has 15 stages, and an expert is involved end to end with the student, that expert needs another hand to collate the documents, ensure that students are sending things on time, ensure that the right documents have been sent, and to also address any repetitive queries. This person will also be accountable for counselling new students about our services, our range of products. This role will also require communicating with other stake holders in the organisation.

Our students come from diverse backgrounds ranging from Class 12th to working professionals with 10 years of work experience. They are keen on gaining admittance to top Global universities, and in this process, they work with us for our classroom training and profile building services.

Expected Professional Background:

- This professional will have a very strong communication skill set that would allow her/him to manage most difficult of the students, and even parents queries. This person should be able to communicate very well both in writing and in spoken English. 


- Given the fact that most of our students are eyeing for Top tier universities, and they come to us as they need help and training in English language, we want to be able to maintain the standards of our team, and their abilities. This person will also have strong attention to details as she will be required to check all the documents carefully, and will be doing follow ups with students to get them to do the submissions on time.

Important Skills

- Very fluent in written and spoken English

- Adept in Microsoft office

- Proven Leadership skill traits (in the present Job, community, school and college background of having active participation and leadership role in co-curricular activities)

- Willingness to talk to people- He/she should enjoy talking to people as that will be a very important part of this role

- Strong ability to work in teams

- Is a strong Learner

- Relationship Management

- Drive for results

- Very Strong Communication / presentation skills - can create effective written and oral communication

- Can independently conduct industry due diligence, understand strengths and weaknesses, and take corrective actions to manage sales targets.

- Is intelligent and has the ability to think on his feet .

Work Experience :

- 3 plus years of experience.

- Corporate Relationship Management / Business Solution Provider from a service background.

- Domain knowledge preferred but not necessary

- Ability to manage inbound sales

Educational Background:

Should be a Graduate( Masters would definitely be a plus) with solid experience in the services Industry. If she is from the Education industry background, that would be a plus,
