Assistant Sales Manager Responsibilities :
- Assistant Sales Manager responsibilities usually revolve around stimulating the sales team to meet the daily targets, he will enter the records of the daily sales in the database, she/he will input the sales daily target in the database and report it to the manager.
- His other duties would involve revising the sales incurred and compare them with expected target and encourage the sales team to keep up the index records.
- He will help sales manager to come up with ideas to make the work of the sales team enjoyable and in a way influence the sales record.
- He will look into discrepancies that have been observed and notify it to the manager to come up with a substantial solution.
- He will look into and manage the employee medical fitness records and issue a no objection certificate to go ahead and carry out their daily sales agenda to meet the sales target.
- Prepare work schedules and see to it the schedules are met by the concerned candidates.
- Assist the sales manager to hire and fire the sales force in the positive interests of the organization.
- He may train the new sales recruits to develop their skills as well grow with the company.
- Reward the achievements of the commendable performers through positive reinforcement.
- Make it a point to update the strategies and suggest ways to reduce the monotony at work.
