Assistant Manager - Sales - Bio-Pharmaceutical (4-6 yrs)
Experience: At least 4-6 yrs. of experience in Sales in a bio-pharmaceutical company, experience in Non-Therapeutic Proteins, Recombinant Enzymes, Bio-analytical & Characterization Services is mandatory for this position.
Qualification: B .Tech/M.Sc/ M.Tech - Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology.
Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets on monthly, quarterly and annual basis as projected to the Management.
- Additional Sales generation from existing customers for Non therapeutics proteins like Rec. Trypsin, Rec. Carboxypeptidase B etc. & AuriSignum (Biopharma Characterization & Bioanalytics solution services) for India and ROW markets by introduction of new products from NTP pipeline.
- New customer development: leading to additional sales generation for Non therapeutics proteins & AuriSignum.
- Competitor mapping and market research: Thorough and up to date understanding of competitor products, pricing, sales and business strategies.
- Payment Collection targets: To achieve collection targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis by doing consistent follow up with the customers.
- Logistics: Planning and coordination of Domestic/ International Commercial and Non-commercial shipments.
- Dispatch sheet preparation, coordinating with teams for documents, document check and ensuring proper coordination for timely pickup and delivery.
- Capture all Sales activities viz. Opportunities, Quotations and Sales Orders in SAP system routinely.
- Explore opportunities for OEM/ Distributorship for NTP in India and ROW markets.
- Independently preparing reports on a weekly basis and monthly MIS report generation.
- Business Development Activities- Regular updation of company website, brochures, product leaflets etc.
Candidate Profile:
- Should have at least 4 to 6 years of experience in sales in the bio-pharmaceutical industry an handled sales for Non-therapeutic Proteins, Recombinant enzymes, Biopharma Characterization & Bioanalytics Solution Services.
- Should have good contacts in the Bio-pharmaceutical Industry.
- Should be a strong communicator, assertive sales person and have good inter-personal skills.
- Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel.
