Assistant Manager - Sales (6-12 yrs)
Job Purpose :
This position supports the Instrumentation sales & projects in India and is responsible for providing technical offer, price & costing as front end sales. Also is responsible for key account as frontend sales. In project he has to support with engineering documentations & pre sales pricing etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- External Communication
- Develop new account & sharing company profile, products basket etc. with customers. New /old product updates.
- Manage key accounts as sales
- Technical meeting & support to customer to support sales
- Support project execution by preparing technical datasheet, vendor offer validation, per sales & post sales support to product sales/project. External inspection, attend inspection call & arrange IRN etc.
- Communicate with product OEMs for technical & commercial offers, training.
Internal Communication :
- Develop sales people for instrumentation product knowledge.
- Product technical & commercial support to sales.
- Active participation & Conduct DMPC (Monthly sales call), revenue etc.
- Material codes & procurement support to internal
- Internal audit & inventory management etc.
Business Development :
- Development of key accounts in terms of density selling
- New account development based on previous experience & lead from internal.
- Planned sales visit, cold call for instrumentation & project business.
- Develop new partner/vendor who will support our business growth
Sales & Operation Process :
- Sales & operation process needs to follow, like attendance in portal, success factor for sales & development plan, training, CRM etc.
- Update opportunity time -to-time in CRM & follow DMPC
- Booking, Revenue & collection say -to do must be as per success factor.
KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS :
- Understand, select & prepare instrument code/part no. based on RFQ.
- Understand competition product, technical & value proposition.
- Preparation of techno-commercial offer
- Presentation skill like, company profile, instrumentation products & projects capability to internal & external audience.
- Product knowledge of Pressure, Temperature, level & Flow transmitter.
- Basic knowledge of Control & Isolation valves.
