Purpose of the role
The person will be responsible to focus on PR, client servicing, Social media marketing, and Influencer marketing activities. Develop & maintain a relationship with media fraternity & keep a tab on media movements to provide media and competitive intelligence.
Roles and Responsibilities
- He/she will be responsible to monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs, for opportunities for clients.
- Developing Press collateral, PR plans, Pitch presentation, Press release, PR communication tools like editorial PR calendar and newsletters, etc.
- Create and execute PR, brand communications, and social media strategy to align with business goals.
- Develop blogger and influencer outreach campaigns (including conceptualizing, outlining, and drafting outreach collaterals, emails, and articles).
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with journalists, media outlets, and prominent bloggers.
- Identify new media placement and link building opportunities & initiate strategies.
- Creating original Content, text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers.
- Prepare regular client reports and attend client meetings
- Ensure an open, transparent and apolitical work environment.
Qualification and Experience
Experience of 3- 6 years in Public Relations or Digital Media Firm
Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream or professional qualification in the field of public relations or marketing communication.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proven experience in PR, Social Media, and Brand communications role.
- Strong Interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication & writing skills accompanied by quick comprehension & clear articulation.
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Hands on in content management in a Public Relations or Digital Media Firm
- Knowledge of online marketing channels.
- Ability to prioritise and plan effectively and can cope well under pressure.
