Assistant Manager - Marketing - Equipment Rental Business (10-12 yrs)
Hiring for EMNC in to the material handling equipment rentals and logistics solutions
Qualifications :
- Essential - Bachelor of Engineering
- Advantageous - Post-graduate in Management
Experience :
- 10-12 years in Industrial Capital Goods preferably having handled rental business
Job purpose :
- Creating Market Awareness of the business proposition
- Working with the Sales team to generate leads and Business Acquisition
- Planning for the optimum fleet size and composition
- Revenue & Profit generation
- Receivables Management
- Customer Retention and Relationship Management
Duties and responsibilities :
Processes & Systems for Rental business :
- Process for Tracking of contracts and fleet
- Process for Receivables Management
Market Awareness & Business Acquisition:
- Work with the sales team in the market to actively market the concept
- Create awareness amongst customers about JH presence and strengths
- Enquiry generation - support and guide sales team for enquiry generation and actively participate for enquiry generation from large project customers.
- Participate in negotiations for contract finalization
Fleet planning :
- Forecasting and planning for adequate stock for fleet size
- Working based on market information to plan correct fleet composition
Deployment, Revenue & Profit generation :
- Coordinate with After Sales team for timely deployment of trucks
- Ensure timely invoicing ensuring correct data from customer regarding usage
- Delivering budgeted gross profits
Receivables Management :
- Ensure timely receipt of invoices at customer end.
- Work along with Sales team and coordinator for adequate follow-up
- Work with Finance for reconciliation of accounts
Customer Retention and Relationship Management :
- Present value added products and services and enhance existing relationships
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs
Management & Development :
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM or other sales management system
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team
- Present business development training and mentoring to sales team and other internal staff
Strategic Initiatives :
- Understand the company's goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company's performance
- Participate in strategy sessions for sustainable profitable growth of company
