Assistant Manager/Manager - Sales Strategy - Insurance (3-6 yrs)

They are a joint venture between a diversified financial services conglomerate in India, and one of the oldest life insurance companies in the world. Headquartered at Mumbai, it has Pan India presence through its various branches and currently has an employee strength of 1500+ employees.
The company offers more than 20 products to cater to retirement, saving & investment, education, critical illness and income replacement needs. It offers products in both the digital as well as offline space. It's product portfolio includes endowment plans, term plans, ULIP's and critical illness plans. Apart from individual plans, it also offers group protection plans.
Job Profile :
Strategy :
- Assists the Channel Head in reviewing and accurately analyzing business performance on regular basis
- Provides strategic inputs and analytical support by constantly monitoring business performance, through periodic MIS and weekly calls with the Leadership team
- Drafts strategic reports and prepares presentations for top management review
Business Performance Management :
- Prepares and maintains critical dashboards for management review by effectively collecting data from all stakeholders and publishing the same periodically
- Works closely with business leaders to track large ticket sales orders/funnel and other business related updates
- Assists Channel Head in setting-up process at regions and branches
- Partners effectively with the regional teams to accurately report business numbers and update implementation.
- Helps rationalize business forecasts by reconciling it with data received from all SBUs from time to time
Critical Projects :
- Drives initiatives and projects on behalf of the Channel Head and regularly updates the progress
- Provides updates to the Sales team on performance highlights,deals, prepares talking points for conferences, etc.
Customer Experience :
- Ensures customer/client queries and escalations are seamlessly resolved by routing them to the respective teams
- Being the voice of the customer with the internal teams
- Candidate Profile : MBAs with 3-6 years work experience in Product/ Business Development / Business Analyst/ Strategy with large, reputed organisations.
